First and foremost I want to wish each and every one of you a very Happy and safe Easter weekend. This past week I’ve been getting a few patterns together as well as items for Mother’s Day, coming up soon. 💐 Speaking of moms, my mother’s 77th birthday is coming up on Earth Day, April 22nd. This woman means a lot to me, she taught me to push through things, no matter what. She taught me to cross-stitch, and at first I really wasn’t into it, or even crafts. Now, I love all crafts and always ready to learn more. She still encourages me when she can. She has dementia and sometimes she will remember things, but most times she gets confused. Which is why I craft with yarn. I do it in honor of her and my late grandparents.
Now, I’d like to share with all of a very cool book called 3D Granny squares. The cute bunny you see up there, came from a pattern in this absolutely adorable and MUST HAVE book. I got mine at Barnes & Noble, but if you click the link, you can get yours at Amazon for a lot less than I got mine. This book was written by three designers who you MUST know and follow!
